What this tool does
Smart Group (Real Estate, Sadat City) produces marketing videos for its own brand. This tool uses the
TikTok Content Posting API to publish those videos directly to Smart Group's own, authorized TikTok
account (@smart.group055). It is an internal operational utility. It is not a public
service, has no external end users, and does not publish on behalf of anyone other than Smart Group's own brand.
How it works
- The account owner connects the official Smart Group TikTok account once via TikTok Login Kit (OAuth).
- Before every publish, the tool verifies the connected account identity (a safety guard against posting to the wrong account).
- Approved brand videos are uploaded and published to that same authorized account, respecting its allowed privacy options.
Permissions we request (and why)
- user.info.basic: read the connected account's basic identity (open_id and display name) to confirm we are publishing to the correct, authorized account.
- video.upload: upload Smart Group's own video files to the account.
- video.publish: publish the uploaded videos to the authorized account.
We request only the scopes needed to publish content and verify account identity, nothing more.
Data & privacy
The tool accesses only the connected account's identifier, basic profile, posting eligibility, and the access/refresh tokens required to publish. It stores no third-party end-user data. Tokens are kept as encrypted server-side environment variables, transmitted only over HTTPS to TikTok's official APIs, and are removed when access is revoked. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
